Abstract
EN The aim of the article is to present the current conditions of the subregional security environment in the context of the Russian minority. The most important was the statistical analysis reflecting the numerical growth of this minority in the territories of individual countries from the end of the 19th century. This serves to learn and understand the particular interests and national security policies of the countries. It also gives a picture of the potential of Russia, which can use the Russian diaspora to implement its own neo-imperial policy in the area of Central and Eastern Europ
