Abstract
EN Security research adopt most sectoral thematic context-oriented approach, for example. energy security, food, military. They have useful value, however, from a practical point of view, comprehensive studies are usually required. The expectation of recipients is to link research with the geospatial aspect. An attempt to support such expectations is the combination and development of many concepts of research, in particular, geopolitics and geography of safety. The category describing the holistic approach to the state of security in the context of spatial relations of the strategic level security environment is geopolitical security. The article contains considerations regarding this concept of security research.
