Abstract
EN The paper discusses the moving of Polish Armed Forces components by means of road transport. The first part justifies the dependency between the mobility of armed components and their efficiency in crisis situations. The main part of the article is concerned with the influence of the different elements of the system, i.e. a person - a vehicle - the surroundings, on the safety of road transport in relation to armed components. The final part of the paper contains an assessment of the current state of these determinants and their influence on the mobility of troops by means of road transport.
