Abstract

PL W artykule podjęto próbę zdefiniowania oraz usystematyzowania zbioru przedsięwzięć podejmowanych w ramach planowania maskowania (MILDEC) i ochrony informacji krytycznej (OPSEC) w ujęciu NATO. Wyjaśniono takie pojęcia, jak: maskowanie (Military Deception – (MILDEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Denial and Deception (D&D) oraz Essential Element of Friendly Information (EEFI). Zasadnicze rozważania skoncentrowano na roli i znaczeniu planowania MILDEC i OPSEC, tj. przedsięwzięć umożliwiających skuteczne oddziaływanie na proces decyzyjny przeciwnika.

EN This article aims to define and systematize the set of activities undertaken within the framework of military deception (MILDEC) and operations security (OPSEC) planning in the NATO context. The purpose of the study is to provide explanations of the concepts of: deception, military deception (MILDEC) and operations security (OPSEC), denial and deception (D&D), essential element of friendly information (EEFI). The main considerations focused on the role and importance of MILDEC and OPSEC planning, i.e. measures enabling effective influence on the enemy’s decision-making process.
