Abstract

EN Purpose: The aim of the article is to provide a detailed analysis of the economic and social consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic using Poland as an example. Approach/Methodology/Design: The research method used in the article is a review of national and global scientific literature and a quantitative analysis of economic measures that reflect changes caused by the pandemic. Findings: The article identifies the sectors of the economy that have suffered the most as a result of the pandemic. Practical Implications: Analyzing economic and social changes during the pandemic allows for effective management of this type of crises. Originality/Value: The original value of the article is the identification of sectors that are most exposed to pandemic crises.
