Abstract
EN The article sets out the characteristics of the reason and source of contemporary terrorism as well as an explanation of the general concept of terrorism, including aviation terrorism. Moreover, aviation terrorism is systematised on the ground of the subject of attack. Finally, the article presents a typology of aviation terrorism taking into account the following criteria: manner, form, and means, alongside the anticipated effects of aviation terrorism.
