EN The development of any science requires constant efforts aimed at verifying the existing theory and searching for new, previously unknown mechanisms of approaching problems solved on the basis of theory and practice. One of the guiding principles of science development was formulated by Niels Bohr (1885-1962) with reference to physics, but it is applicable to all sciences. It is a principle ofcorrespondence, according to which a new theory replacing the existing one in a given field is its generalisation, as well as modification and deepening at the same time. This situation also applies inits entirety to logistics, including its particular variety of military logistics, which is characterized by a variety of directions, forms, concepts, and methods of management and acquired logistical potential. They are a necessary response to the dynamically changing internal and external conditions of functioning and development of the armed forces. The multidimensional nature of the problems that need to be "measured" in military logistics today requires an interdisciplinary approach, in which theleading role is played by problems solved in the area of management and quality science, a new discipline functioning in the Polish classification of sciences since 2018. Combining management science (in the field of economic sciences) and commodity science (in the field of quality and productmanagement), management science and quality science are very closely related to the area of interest of modern military logistics.On the basis of own research carried out and conclusions and postulates submitted by experts dealing with modern military logistics, the aim of the work was to identify and evaluate and indicate the directions of military logistics in the field of social sciences. within the integrated scientific discipline of management and quality sciences. The aim of the work was subordinated to the structure of the article which includes two main parts. The first one, theoretical one, is devoted to the identification of the so-called "problem fields" of contemporary military logistics, and the second one indicates, on the basis of empirical research, the dilemmas of development of military logistics in the area of integrated scientific discipline, i.e. management and quality sciences.
