Abstract
EN Currently, Iran is a country aspiring to play the role of a great power in the Middle East region, affecting the many phenomena and processes occurring in it, involved in almost every conflict. The Middle East is one of the most unstable and unpredictable regions in the world. It is currently difficult to resolve conflicts and crises there, such as the rise of the socalled Islamic State, the migration crisis, the Israeli-Palestinian crisis, the aftermath of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the pursuit of imperial powers in the creation of the local policy and the crisis over Iran's nuclear program. These disputes and conflicts take place in an area which is two-thirds of the oil reserves and about half of the natural gas resources, which determines the importance of the Middle East for the international community.
