Abstract

EN The paper discusses issues concerning the conducting of exercises by a Division Commander, taking special account of the role of the Command Battalion. All the stages of a conducted exercise are shown, from the preparatory part to the conclusion of the exercise. The author analyses the essential role of the Command Battalion during each stage of a conducted exercise, focusing mainly on the preparation of an exercise and the provision of suitable equipment which will make it possible to achieve the intended training aims.
