Abstract

EN The article presents an author’s concept for an automatic hazard identification information system (AHIIS) in inland waterway navigation. The system is based on two parallel methods, namely a deterministic mathematical model and a fuzzy logic expert system. Such a system of decision support, apart from mathematical measures, also considers the decisions (behaviors) of experts, i.e. the inland navigators. This allows to improve work safety and enhance effectiveness and efficiency of the use of fairways. The article presents integration of information downloaded from specialist devices operating the system and methodology of the system itself. The concept of the author’s hybrid decision support system has been placed in currently developed River Information Services (RIS), which additionally indicates the place of operation of the developed system and its practical application
