EN SovTechInsight-Technological Sovereignty Insight Model for Critical Domains. A proposal for an analytical approach. Based on the assumptions of the 2023 European Economic Security Strategy and the Commission Recommendation (EU) 2023/2113 on fostering research and innovation in critical technology areas, it is necessary to develop tools to help assess the level of technological sovereignty of Member States. These documents emphasise the importance of systemic monitoring of national capabilities in critical technology areas for the EU's economic security. In response to these needs and based on the Technological sovereignty index. Methodological outline developed by the Łukasiewicz-ITECH expert team, I present an approach to the analysis methodology tentatively named: SovTechInsight-Technological Sovereignty Insight Model for Critical Domains. This model provides a structured assessment of assets, barriers and synergies in critical technology domains from an economic security perspective.
