EN This research investigates how the increasing number of basic and specialised IT services, along with technical-organisational solutions and command support systems, influences the training and development of soldiers in the Signal and IT troops regarding cybersecurity. Conducted during exercises such as Brama Mazowsza, Świder, Twierdza, Brama, and major drills like Dragon and Anakonda, the study includes observations and interviews from workshops codenamed Aster. The practical aim was to identify potential changes in training methods due to the implementation and expansion of ICT systems. The study highlights how converging telecommunication and computer networks onto a unified IP platform impacts training processes. It discusses the skills required for military IT specialists and examines the determinants affecting training in Signal and IT units. The research question addressed was: What are the differences between civilian and military IT training? Findings suggest integrating specialised commercial courses into training programmes, emphasising practical aspects such as attack simulations. Recommendations include establishing help desk and service desk units and enhancing integration between stationary and mobile transmission segments. These findings are crucial for strengthening national cybersecurity resilience amid growing hybrid threats.
