Abstract

EN The purpose of this article is to characterize the security measures employed by the Police at mass events, using football matches held in Warsaw as an example. These measures consist of a variety of activities that, when properly prepared and executed, contribute to ensuring safety during such events. The main tasks of the Police involve conducting preventive and operational-reconnaissance activities. In the event of a threat to public safety and order, responding to disclosed prohibited acts becomes a crucial issue. This publication also includes survey results and information obtained from expert interviews.
