Abstract

EN The chapter presents the Council of Europe’s law concerning cybercrime or containing provisions relating to cybercrime. It refers to Convention No. 178 on the Legal Protection of Services based on, or consisting of, Conditional Access, Recommendation Rec (2001) 7 of the Committee of Ministers to Member States on measures to protect copyright and neighbouring rights and combat piracy, especially in the digital environment of 5 September 2001, Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse open to signature on 25 October 2007 in Lanzarote and Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime, concerning the criminalisation of acts of a racist and xenophobic nature committed through computer systems, dated 28 January 2003.
