Abstract

EN The article present the US-Russian-Chinese Intelligence rivalry in the cyber era. The author presents an overview of the structure of intelligence and counter-intelligence agencies of the three countries and explains the manner in which the digital and information revolutions opened up new opportunities to secret service operations. He further presents the reasons why cyber-attacks are such an effective tool in the hands of intelligence agencies and shows examples of the most frequent methods of intelligence operations in cyberspace, such as cyber espionage, intervention into elections, information war (desinformation), cyber sabotage, and industrial espionage (technology theft).
