Abstract
EN The article focuses on the issues concerning security aspects as far as the Internet is concerned. Firstly, the essence of information revolution is shown, starting from opinions and assessments of key experts. Secondly, the information society is presented. Finally, cyberspace as a new area of threats is described and evaluated.
