EN The main research problem of this thesis has been made in the form of a question: what is the specificity of the service of women in the State Fire Service, with particular emphasis on the determinants of the low percentage of women in this dispositional group? The main research problem was determined by the following hypothesis: I assume that the specificity of the service of women in the State Fire Service is related to the maladjustment of the service environment to the participation of women and the performance of their official activities in the administrative and logistics sphere. I presume that, taking into account the determinants of the low proportion of women in this dispositional group, there are limitations for women in terms of promotion and the possibility of serving in the rescue and firefighting unit. I suppose that the standards for passing the physical fitness test are the same for men and women without taking into account biological differences, which probably significantly contributes to the low percentage of women in the State Fire Service.
