Streszczenie
EN The article presents the issue of the participation of women soldiers in modern missions and operations. In the initial part, the legal and doctrinal foundations regarding the discussed issues are presented. Particular attention was paid to UN Resolution 1325, which is a key document containing recommendations for the states of the international community in terms of increasing the participation of female personnel in missions and operations. Then, the share of women soldiers in military contingents was presented, both in quantitative and qualitative terms. The study uses accounts of male and female personnel serving in PMC Iraq and PMC Afghanistan.
